  • Yay – schools Out

    I’ve just finished school, got a a decent ATAR and into my first preference, Engineering @ QUT

  • Leadership (this time through adventure)

    With the support of Dick and Pip Smith, a few years back i won a leadership grant through Scouts Australia to lead an expedition of 30 people to the Snowy Mountains, total budgut $30000. Yes I know its kind of low-tech, but i sure learnt a lot about leadering people. Mostr of our metting, across 5 scout groups were online and there were 6 activity plans, risks assessments and contigencies to develop and get approved…we needed a lot of technology support (I choose google!)

    After 7 months of planning and 300 pages of documentation (we love paperwork in scouting) the Snowy Expedition is finally underway (see Victor Scouts on the top of Australia ).
